Does anyone know if there is such a thing as a cheap cistern water level indicator? My cistern is up a hill about 500ft away from my house and I
would like an easy way to take a look at a flashing light or other visual sensor to tell me it's getting low.

If price were no object a radio frequency transmitter to alert would also be nice.

Malotek.com gauges look just like the one in your motor-home but is designed with different electronics that makes it self powered, (9V Batt. lasts about 10 years) and can go to 1000 feet away AND will work through ice at temps to -60 degrees. Sounds
impossible but true. I have two, cistern and holding tank. I live in northern Alberta, Canada CHEAP
