I need to go out to a remote location and locate some corner markers. A
real estate agent gave me GPS coordinates in decimal format that should
work. On my home computer it works with Google maps. On my Android phone
it doesn't. It changes the format that I input from decimal to degrees,
minutes and seconds. It literally shows that one corner is West of
Morroco and "can't find a way there".

Does anyone know of an app that would show my current location and let
me input Latitude and Longitude to direct me on foot? I can get within
+-50' by eye but want to do better.

I converted all of the decimal lat/long to DMS on my desktop, wrote them
down and tried to enter them on my phone. This time I ended up in China
    - near Zumadian. I just need to find the correct format to enter. No
    worries.

Harder than I thought. Symbol for degrees is (hold down ALT while typing
0176) and my phone has no ALT key.

Never mind. Google maps works fine. I was picking locations too far away
to see my current location. At highest level of zoom in satellite view I
could verify small landmarks in a riverbed and big rocks in the trees.
The refresh rate is quite slow. When I stop walking my marker dot jerks forward 3 more times before it settles down to my actual location. No
    GPS app needed.
