• Tom Cook holding F1 checkered flag?

From *Hemidactylus*@21:1/5 to All on Sun Oct 23 20:52:26 2022
Towards the end of the F1 US Grand Prix at Austin TX they showed Tim Cook holding the checkered flag. I assume that means he waved it at the end of
    the final lap…

Surely he'd be waving the rainbow flag and trying to force them to have
    driver equality with 50% male, 50% female, 50% gay, 50% black, 50%
asian, ... instead of back in the office actually running the computer
    company. :-(

(yes, I know those percentages add up to way more than 100%)

Only if you consider them to be exclusive, which they're not. Could easily
have everything you mention within 100%.

Demographics are hard, aren't they? ;)

Anyone know why Apple's vice president of industrial design, Evans Hankey
(who had taken over from former Apple design chief Jony Ive three years
ago) suddenly left the company abruptly just yesterday?

That's disinformation. Actually, Hankey isn't leaving until next year,
and will be helping Apple with the transition to a replacement during
    the next six months.

For continuing to stupidly leave the Magic Mouse's charging port on the underside!! ;-)

Didn’t take this thread long to deteriorate from an innocuous mention of
Tim Cook holding the flag at an F1 event. I did misspell his name in the
title :-( (I blame iphone keyboard).

Brad Pitt was at the event too. Imagine the hating…

I was merely pointing out Cook was shown at a Formula One race and get this crap as a response. Consider the venue I suppose.

He’s not an F1 fan perhaps? Just guessing.
