There's a lot of conversation around the #TwitterFiles. Here's my
take, and thoughts on how to fix the issues identified.

I'll start with the principles I've come to believe...based on
everything I've learned and experienced through my past actions as a
    Twitter co-founder and lead:

Social media must be resilient to corporate and government
    control.
Only the original author may remove content they produce.
Moderation is best implemented by algorithmic choice.

Sounds like Usenet killfiles. Which manifestly don't work.

I have a Twitter account, but I am not familiar with using it; very
few posts awhile back. I concluded there are account holders who
don't read or seldom read thru replies to their posts.

to easily manage it for themselves

I assume a means to evaluate a bad actor. For instance, a person
touches a "reporting this person" symbol/icon, and up comes a menu
which lists various conditions this person might have violated. Then,
the post goes to a moderator after this checklist has a valid check.

Regardless, using AI and a person based reporting would be better.
Moreover, AI could be used to screen/inspect the offending post before
it reaches a moderator. [If a person keeps on reporting others
falsely, then their account is suspended for 7 days.]

IIRC, by law, a site must make a good faith effort in cleaning up the
"trash." Otherwise, they may get sued (if only you had removed the
trash argument). Thus, some type of house cleaning must exist, or
    risk getting your butt sued.
