No headphones, so everybody hears everything. Bilingual sign on chair
(English then Spanish, something like "chair restricted for TV use
only"). Newspaper with looks like classified ads. Ash tray between
chais. Relatively well dressed travelers, with jackets and some hats.
Woman holding a baby (no stroller in sight) in backgrpund.

    So many details.

Yet another great photo. Thanks, JAB.

But screw the TVs. Look how classy and well dressed everyone is.
Compare that to the modern day.

And that's 1969? I would have guessed the 1950s - guess you can tell
it's later by the size of the little televisions. In the 1950s they
    would be hulking furniture.

Anyway, cool glimpse at the past.

I agree, I love the old photos.

I have a late 60's Stetson Fedora, very similar to the one worn by the
second man in, watching a pay television. It came from a Men's
department store in Pittsburgh, in original box. I rarely wear this hat (although I always wear a simple flat cap or straw fedora, seasonally).
I last wore it to my sister's wedding this past April, in Washington
DC. No one thinks twice at someone walking down the street, wearing a
suit in DC, and I didn't even stand out with the hat on... but I'd get
funny stares where I live in rural eastern Ohio.
