Taylor Swift Threatens College Kid for Tracking Her Private Jet

Rather than fly commercial, the billionaire threatened a college kid
with legal action for sharing publicly available information about her
    private flights.
    ...
    ...
Safety isn't the only reason Swift might want to keep her joyrides
private. For years, Taylor's been called out for her astronomical
carbon footprint as one of the world's leading users of private
planes. Her jetsetting relationship with Kansas City Chiefs player
Travis Kelce, for example, has the pop star flying back and forth
between New York, the Midwest, and her international tour dates.
Jalopnik reports that Swift took 12 trips to see her football-playing
beau in the last three months of 2023 alone. An independent analysis
found that Swift was the "biggest celebrity CO2e polluter of the year"
in 2022, and her effect on the environment is one of the most damning criticisms of the pop star's career.

It's worse than that, she won't endorse Trump.

Assume there are stalkers afoot....knowing her flight location is not
going to resolve this issue. I don't follow her, but when a person's
dwelling location is known, there's the issue.

John Lennon "learned" this the hard way.

And maybe that smartass kid needs to learn something about
    responsibility.

I assume her "handlers" are the issue. Sadly, being in the limelight
may not allow a person to grow mentally/intellectually, and these
handlers' interests are about "pimping" for more success/revenue.

    Case in point...Britney Spears...

The number of stalkers she has? Enjoy the private jet, Taylor. She has
no business flying commercial. (and would make a mess of every airport
    she walked into, imagine).

Oh no, the carbon footprint! FFS, get real.

It could be done, but with her performance scheduling, some private
flights would be needed...but this scheduling could be adjusted to use commercial flights..

In the heydays of train travel, stars took trains. Stars still fly
commercial aircraft, but tend to camouflage themselves.

Why doesn't she just have someone else rent the plane and then travel on
    that as a passenger?

Tokyo to LA can't be made with "her" plane, so she chartered a flight
    with VistaJet.

Dollars/cents wise, it might be cheaper to use VistaJet.

Some of those music/Hollywood "stars" lease their jets to others when
    not in use.

I don't follow her, (don't even know what she sings about) but owning
a tri-jet like hers is not cheap...her scheduling would determine if
its better to fly with VistaJet, or buying a plane.

In a commercial airline, I'd venture to say she could buy out all
first class seats, and fly cheaper than owning a VistaJet. Airlines
would be very happy to have a customer like that...and would respect
her privacy with red carpet service.

I think you should work as a consultant for her! You would save her loads
of money and increase her quality of life! And you could charge just a percetange of what you save! =)

But the idea is not new. My father once travelled on the same plane as
Ingmar Bergman and he did exactly what you describe. Rented the whole row
of seats in order to not have to talk to anyone.

    Best regards,
    Daniel

Years ago, when a minor band hits the road, their handlers & stage
crew eats away at obtaining serious profits. In her case, large
crowds are present, so she is making serious bucks.

But is this what she wants, serious bucks? I believe Carly Simon
earned enough to keep the bill collectors at bay, without having to do
one concert after another. I think the issue here is her handlers are
milking her to the max...for their profits.

After a person has stashed away say 10 million dollars, that's more
than enough to retire on for a rational person.

This reminds me of a documentary I saw about Avicii (fairly well known
european DJ). The thesis of the documentary was basically that his manager forced him to work himself to death.

He killed himself due to depression/over work.

After a person has stashed away say 10 million dollars, that's more
than enough to retire on for a rational person.

Speak for yourself! ;) I'll aim for the billion so that I can start a libertarian power house and compete with the woke/socialist BS of the US billionaire elite. ;)

I only notice news tidbits about her, but I suspect her mother and
handlers (et.al) are her "cheerleaders", who cheer her on/on/on.

    thesis of the documentary

If your income was dependent upon one person's performances, would you
suggest other life-sytle options for this person, which would end your employment? Those around her are most likely focused upon her singing
    career.
