Abstract BS...well yes, them white plantation owners taught them how
to do the work they required, and when slavery ended, most blacks had
these "skills" and continued to be farm labors.
What's missing here is if blacks were not imported/enslaved, what
skills did they learn in their homeland, as compared to in US.
Few blacks benefited in white man's capitalist society. During
slavery era, I doubt if any slave benefited economy. After
Emancipation Proclamation, I'm sure some (i.e., very few) could
support themselves without being a farm labor, but were their skills
directly related to farm labor work (white man's requirements)?
