I do know there are law firms who want the money up front before
representing a client.
Should be a flag on the play, then, that he wanted to name himself as
his office's own treasurer - or some sh*t like that - before finding
out he was unable to.
I suspect the whole thing was one big money-induced grift.
Give him some jail time as payback for all our time he's wasted.
