Title: Guidewire Consultant

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Employment Type: 6+ Months Contract



Additional Skills:

Guidewire Specific Skills Very good understanding of Guidewire framework, implementation, architecture and components.
Detail understanding of Guidewire Insurance Suite Claim Center, Policy Center and Billing Center.
Deep understanding of Billing Center.
UI Configuration.
Implementation of Rules (including UI Validation) using GOSU scripting. Metadata Configuration of Rules (including UI Validation).
Integration with External Systems (Rating, Customer Data etc.,) using GOSU scripting and Guidewire Platform supported integration techniques.
Unit and Functional Tests for all the custom GOSU scripting.


Development Skills Effective implementation of algorithms or effective programming skills.

Java 5, JEE, XML, Web Services (Axis 2), SQL, ANT.
Web services.
Database concepts.
Unit tests.
Real time knowledge and experience on enterprise system integration, preferably from Insurance, Banking (Compliance specifically), Financial domain background.
Should have understanding and experience of software development best practices
