Description: Project Deliverables :
The Analyst will:
Gather and document business and technical requirements for multiple modules. Test application changes at a high level; prior to quality assurance testing as needed.
Participate in end user training as needed.
Have strong analytical and people skills in order to grasp key points from complicated details.
Have the ability to quickly learn and document business processes.
Author other documentation as requested (i.e., status reports, meeting notes). Work with the Project manager, QA Lead, Business Owners, Developers, DBAs, and Architects in defining and writing detailed and reusable use case requirements.
Schedule and facilitate requirements review sessions.
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Attend and participate in project meetings, team meetings, and BA meetings as needed.
Required Skills :
7 years of experience eliciting and documenting business requirements for web applications;
2 engagements longer than 1 year in a Business Analyst role;
2 engagements demonstrating experience with the Software Development Life Cycle;
1 engagement demonstrating experience with Requirements Change Management;
1 engagement with reverse engineering of an older application to a new application.
Desired Skills :
Database analysis skills, including T-SQL;
Criminal Justice experience;
Experience with application re-writes;
Experience with Microsoft Office;
Experience with Team Foundation Server(TFS);
Experience with SharePoint;
Experience with SQL Server;
Experience with Microsoft Visio;
