customs agency services, we are looking for a person for the
position of Transport Damage Claims Specialist.

This company has a network of 9 logistics platforms and offices,
employs over 200 employees in Poland and serves over 1200
customers.

***** Responsibilities:

* Ensuring proper management of international road and sea transport
flows as part of services for the key customer of the company,
through:
** managing service providers contracted by the customer to ensure
the expected level of performance
** applying appropriate measures and taking action in case of
non-compliance with the level of services by the provider
** maintaining relationships with key suppliers
* Daily monitoring of operational activities
* Managing transport flows to ensure the expected level of
quality/costs/time of execution
* Ensuring detailed and daily monitoring of "ready to transport"
volumes
* Taking necessary actions in case of decrease in performance level
* Knowledge of the supplier's potential and commitment to undertake
established operational activities
* Monitoring the expected level of transport operations execution
* Ensuring data consistency in IT systems in terms of operational
activities carried out
* Adapting and optimizing transport means
* Adapting the loading plan according to needs and taking into account
circumstances that may pose a risk to delivery
* Updating tables and databases to ensure proper reporting of
activities


***** Desired skills & experience:

At least 1.5 years of experience in maritime transport
* English language skills enabling daily communication (B2)
* Skills in organization, planning, risk prevention
* Knowledge of the automotive industry
* Knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
* Knowledge of TMS systems


***** Good to have skills:

* Knowledge of Italian language
