Working on projects for our client - a product based company in San Jose area.
Professional skills:
5+ years of experience in developing cloud-hosted (AWS), responsive, single page web applications using JavaScript, Java, AngularJS, HTML5, CSS3.
High proficiency with client side JavaScript frameworks, Server side frameworks (Preferably Java), NoSQL databases (Preferably Cassandra), and MySQL. Experience in data modeling and design - experience in logical database design and
providing recommendations database query tuning Able to integrate with and manage APIs exposing micro services (REST, SOAP) including development and support of Java/JavaScript services. Experience in writing unit tests
using TestNG. Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Lean Startup, XP) and cross-functional teams (Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers, Designers). Demonstrates active pursuit of optimizing CI/CD process and tools, testing
frameworks and practices (Preferably GitHub, Jenkins/Bamboo, Mocha/Karma, etc.).
Ideally familiar with Design Thinking, Behavior and Test-Driven Development.
Social skills:
Familiarity with test-and-learn approaches using web and customer analytics data, understanding how these drive hypotheses-based development.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with track record of taking solution ownership.
Communication has to be clear and good.
Additional information:
Candidates have to be very strong on the Java programming side. There is four rounds of technical interview (coding test) from customer side, all interviews primarily focused on Core Java programming skill.
We have one screening on our side followed by at least three rounds on Customer side.
Location: San Jose. Locals are preferred
