I have a self directed IRA and tried to participate in a tax lien auction. The county insisted that funds be wired within 24 hours and provided an account number. My custodian wants $100 to do this. Even $50 seems excessive. Is there an IRA custodian
that lets you send money wires online without these ridiculous fees??? The total interested from the Tax Lien is often just $300.
