Years back (forty!), I was working in the system planning
department of a G&T coop. We had to file reports to the state
regarding our load, which for this purpose was defined as
monthly energy delivered. I think that there were equivalent
Federal reports, as well.
It wasn't too tough, as our member coops provided the data
and I just rolled it up into the forms we submitted. (I'll
admit that having a spreadsheet program would have been
helpful.)
The load had to be accounted for in three different categories:
- Residential
- Commercial
- Industrial
As I said, we were a G&T coop, having distribution coops as our
members. These coops were, with one exception, in very rural
areas. I recently found myself wondering which of these categories
agricultural would have been shoe-horned into.
Is anybody out there involved in such reporting? Any idea where
agricultural load fits into this scheme? Any guesses?
