Oxebridge VP Christopher Paris to Speak Before IAAR

    September 29, 2005

Winter Haven FL --- Oxebridge VP Operations Christopher Paris is scheduled to speak before the International Association of Accredited Registrars (IAAR) [www.iaar.org] on the subject of international
conformity assessment and Oxebridge's Advocacy '05 Initiative. Paris
will be also be presenting basic information to the IAAR on two
critical end user organizations: the International Federation of
Standards Users (www.IFAN.org) and the US Standards Engineering Society (www.SES-standards.org). The presentation will be given at IAAR's next semiannual meeting on October 21, in Boston.

Oxebridge is a corporate member of a IFAN, and the SES is the
official US member body. Paris is a member of the US TAG to TC 176, the
body responsible for development of ISO 9000 standards.

    The Advocacy '05 Initiative [ link: www.oxebridge.com/advocacy.asp
]is Oxebridge's multi-pronged effort to improve the validity and value
of ISO 9001. Its goal is not just to ensure the value of
certifications, but also the content of the standard itself. Relative
to the IAAR, Oxebridge's efforts have been to improve the work done by accredited registrars by ensuring customer needs are understood from a
user perspective, and by ensuring accredited registrars abide by international rules governing their accreditation.

"Oxebridge in general, and myself in particular, are professional auditees," Paris says. "We can bring to the table the simultaneous view
of our seventy-plus clients, all of whom have been audited by IAAR registrars, while I can talk about my own experiences of being audited.
I believe our view is unique, and worthwhile."

IAAR Chairman H. Pierre Sallé agreed, showing particular interest
in the Advocacy '05 efforts, and asking Paris to review these with the registrars in attendance.

Paris will also be asking IAAR members for feedback as to their perceptions regarding ISO 9001. "The Advocacy program is a two-way
dialogue. Accredited registrars have their perspective, which we need
    to grab onto," Paris says.

Members of the public interested in attending the session should
contact the IAAR by writing to info@iaar.org.
