VDare's James Fulford on whether Donald Trump regrets giving Paul Ryan
and Mitch McConnell authorship of his legacy: <URL:

| So Ryan was willing to pretend to build a wall, but not willing to
| even pretend to curb legal immigration. And of course, he was
| pretending.

| Mark Krikorian writes on Twitter:
|
| Another point: the tactical purpose of the Ryan bill was to give
| anti-border GOPs an alternative pro-wall bill to vote for, for
| campaign purposes, allowing them to vote against the better Freedom
| Caucus bill, ensuring that both would fail.
|
| Why would Ryan do this? Well, he's on the board of directors of two
| companies now that he's retired from the Speaker's position, and has
| started his own nonprofit, which no doubt gets donations from
| various industries profiteering off cheap labor. See Paul Ryan Is
| Poised to Earn Millions When He Retires Next Year, by Bloomberg,

Who advised Trump on how to negotiate with the Permanent Bipartisan
Fusion Party crapweasels representing the Cheap Labor Lobby in
Congress.GOV?

"I have no faith in Youngkin governing radically. It's on Virginians
to demand that he does and hold his feet to the fire. But more
importantly: Trump raised millions in the name of election
integrity, didn't actually spend the money on that--and Virginians
still showed up." - Pedro Gonzalez <URL:
