• Why H1B RFEs Continue to Rise Every Year

    The number of H1B petitions has significantly increased each year causing USCIS to have to close its doors to new petitions after just the mandatory five days they legally have to accept them. Alongside this increase, we have seen more and more RFEs
    every year. This is CIS's attempt to eradicate visa fraud as well as make the best decisions possible about who of the growing pile of petitions gets approved for the set number of annual H1B visas. At the same time, CIS tracks companies to see how many
    visa petitions they file. Companies that have a disproportionately high number of employees filing for visas relative to their overall employee base tend to have a higher chance of receiving RFEs.
