can it fix mental illness like Jenner has.
As of Friday, Bruce Jenner’s former legal identity has been
changed to Caitlyn Marie Jenner — and his gender was changed to
female as well.
The Los Angeles Superior Court approved the name and gender
change documents, a spokeswoman confirmed.
The official paperwork put a legal stamp on the outward
transition Jenner started a long time ago.
Jenner, 65, currently the star of “I Am Cait,” a reality show
about her new identity, wasn’t in court Friday.
Her attorneys were there for what was a very brief hearing that
included a judge asking if anyone present had any objections —
but there were none.
Jenner, the former patriarch of the Kardashian family, was a
household name for decades after winning the men's decathlon at
the 1976 Summer Olympics.
