Sidenote: The proponents of the strip are also
planning to produce saliva test strips to detect
Covid, cancer, & other health conditions.

    Follow-up 2:

Per the following article, "It could be ready for
    consumers as soon as 2023."
    https://www.freethink.com/health/diabetes-test

The article, as is typical with articles about
    Disparate High Glucose Conditions (DHGCs),
errs when it asserts "people treat their diabe-
tes by injecting insulin when levels get high"
& when it gave the false impression that ...

... the -7- DHGCs are ONE condition in its
use of the confusing misleading ancient out-
dated diabetes word without clarifier -10-
times, no mention of disparate causalities,
    disparate treatments, disparate risk profiles.

Actually, the overwhelming majority who have
    any of the -6- non-Islit (Insulinitis, near-total
to total loss of endogenous insulin) DHGCs
do NOT use insulin injections to treat their
DHGC (see Diabetes Bubble / Diabetes Bub-
    ble Burst for further details).

The article claims 30% of the close to 470
million in the world who have any of the -7-
DHGCs "experience anxiety over the finger-
prick process. That anxiety has been con-
    nected to testing avoidance ..."

Hmmm, when a fingerprick causes pain,
100% experience anxiety. Most of the time,
no pain or low pain, but any pain does in-
deed reduce the likelihood & frequency of
    doing a bloodprick.

Of course, users of continuous glucose mon-
itors, bloodpricks only done for calibration
purposes, & when a CGM is giving errone-
ous readings (rare, but when it happens,
bloodpricks are the only way presently to
    ascertain actual glucose level).

Video of saliva glucose (& possibly other
    health conditions) test:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7SJMCly0wAg

It would be nice (if possible) if manufac-
turer(s) of these strips added choosable
    flavors to the strips. (-:

I've had Islit - Insulinitis, new SUPERIOR
clarifying name for near-total to total loss
of endogenous insulin, for 60 years, since
    age 5. https://prohuman.net/pix2/new_superior_clarifying_name_is_INSULINITIS.jpg
