It's estimated that 85% of Cellosis (continued
endogenous insulin production no longer able
to keep HbA1c < 6.5) is -1- and only -1- spe-
cific type of Cellosis, Preventable Cellosis
caused by excessive weight &/or lack of suf-
ficient exercise &/or poor diet &/or other ...
... adverse lifestyle factors &/or old age &/or
having relatives, especially 1 or both parents,
with Cellosis.
However, about 15% of Cellosis is unpreven-
table & non-reversible, with 20 specific types.
Preventable Cellosis entails continued insulin pro-
duction no longer able to keep HbA1c < 6.5, their
Cellosis caused by excessive weight &/or lack of
sufficient exercise &/or poor diet &/or other adverse
lifestyle factors &/or old age &/or relatives, especially
1 or both parents, having Cellosis.
Once it happens, in many it can be reversed with
lifestyle changes in the first 10 years after diagnosis.
Nonpreventable Cellosis, 20 specific types, entails
the same inability to no longer keep HbA1c < 6.5,
but unlike Preventable Cellosis, they're not caused
by lifestyle factors and they're nonreversible.
The following article uses the diabetes word with
the 'type 2' clarifier a lot, & uses diabetes & non-
diabetic without clarifier a lot, but the sole condi-
tion being referred to in the article is Preventable
Cellosis. None of the article is about any of the
20 specific types of unpreventable Cellosis or ...
... any of the 6 non-Cellosis Disparate High Glu-
cose Conditions (Islit, Latent Autoimmune Islit,
Gestational Cellosis, Ohiglucons, Diminosis,
Neonatal Diminosis).

Preventable Cellosis Remission Facts
https://www.bmj.com/content/374/bmj.n1449
- - -
o Processes that cause Preventable Cellosis can
be returned to normal functioning by restriction of
food energy to achieve weight loss of around 33
pounds
o Around half of people with Preventable Cellosis
who are within the first 10 years of diagnosis and
manage to follow food energy restriction can stop
all Cellosis medication
o Remission of Preventable Cellosis is achieved
when haemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) goes down to 6.5
after weight loss & at least 6 months later without
any Cellosis medications
o In one study, the success rate of Preventable
Cellosis remission with 33 pound weight loss was
36%
o In individuals with successful remission, beta
cells increased from a low of 50% beta cells to
100% beta cells
Sidenote: As I've documented in multiple posts,
the problem with weight loss is weight re-gain,
which happens in the overwhelming majority
who lose weight. So, over the long-term, the
ability to keep the weight off is critical in order
to prevent recurrence of Preventable Cellosis.
I'm unaware of any long-term studies about
the percent of those who experience Cellosis
remission who are able to prevent weight re-
gain & sustain Preventable Cellosis remission
over the long-term.

Pro-Humanist FREELOVER, I got Insulinitis
(Islit) which was caused by Insulitis at age 5
in March 1961, requiring multiple exogenous
insulin doses to try to stay alive. There are
15 specific types of rapid-onset Islit.
There is 1 specific type of slow-onset Islit,
Latent Autoimmune Islit, also unpreventable
& nonreversible (thus far).

o Preventable Cellosis is the only specific
type of Disparate High Glucose Condition
that is preventable & reversible (in many,
sometimes it's called type 2 diabetes, often
confusingly called diabetes with no clarifier)
Risk for Preventable Cellosis, Hypertension,
& Cardiovascular Disease increases as one's
weight increases but BMI risk increases at
lower BMI levels in non-white individuals:

used exogenous insulin in 2019.
