    get all messy drilling in a Helicoil...

    I don't remember what he was doing, but my friend over-tightened a bolt
    and cracked the transmission bell housing. I think the solution was,
    drill tiny holes at the ends of the crack, fill them and the crack with
    JB Weld, and give that bolt minimal torque as long as you have the transmission.
