Police said he connected with an undercover officer posing as the
father of a 14-year-old girl in a chatroom and thought he was
arranging to have sex with the teen.
Watts told officials that he had a pattern of viewing videos and
images of children in sexual acts, the would delete them from his
computer and "backup" drives, officials said.
He worked as an editor for the Associated Press in Washington DC,
and also worked as a press secretary for the House Democrats in
Hartford.
