I use Lysol, but also drop the blue tablets into the tank. I find that the Dawn cleaner, also blue, is useful for clearing stopped drains.

The tablets in the tank may play hell with the valve and flush parts.

A quarter cup of bleach applied lightly to wet a layer of TP stuck
slightly immersed in the water, and the remainder dumped into the water
and a few hours soak does it for me.

I buy it by the gallon at Smart&Final. Put some in over night, brush
the mineral deposits away the next day. I worry about the deposit
buildup in the area the brush can't reach, though. When we replaced the
toilet that came with the house it was truly frightening.
