Another way to just figure out all in pricing across retailers and choose the cheapest option.
A lot of other expenses are built into shipping as late 1990's/early 2000's I was doing order fulfillment for a client who used our call center services, and we advised the client to build our costs into shipping, which once upon a time was referred to
as shipping & handling, because whether we fulfilled or not, just the order taking could be considered handling.
