    Talking about collecting kitchen wares, have to keep in mind that thrift shops are a good source.

    I've collected such things as a Cuisenart blender, several made in the U.S.A. Revere Ware pans, quality glassware, and a set of MAC carving knives that stay sharp and have lasted many years. Have a drawer full of related items such as sharpeners,
    various kinds of openers, etc., from the nearby Bishop's Attic thrift store. I have no less than seven framed pictures from there, plus two Japanese wall hangings. That store also gives away donated items left in boxes outside, like paint and auto
    supplies.
