I tried to teach with a rural public school contract--once--despite awareness of the problems, like hostile administer, critical Native villagers, very limited services and resources available, likely absence of housing, and such schools with history of
short-term employments.
Yet if you are one of those independent, versatile, able, and willing survivors, such a teaching contract might be an alternative?
