    I have hundreds of these

What should I do with them?

Throw in the recycle bin or throw away. Two great choices.

If they are unused, post them to freecycle or craigslist "free".

They are made of a plastic film that is not recycled by most recyclers,
but CAN be recycled by the places that recycle plastic grocery bags and newspaper sleeves. If your grocery store has a bin for plastic bags,
    put them there.

In the Seattle area, a private recycling firm called Ridwell picks up
stuff like that from the house. Biweekly service for $10/month.

A lot of folks reuse them to mail stuff.
