• Gmail outperforming Outlook for me.

From Jim S@21:1/5 to All on Sun Nov 10 15:29:43 2019
I am running both Outlook and Gmail apps on the same new android phone.
I prefer Outlook as it accepts push-mail where Gmail has to wait for a 15 minute scan interval.
However I got a forwarded mail today which had lots of attachments. None
of the .jpgs showed up on Outlook but a .doc file did. On Gmail
    everything was there
    .
Since I posted this to comp.mobile.android I sent an .mp4 video to
myself. It would not play on Outlook, but was fine on Gmail. Same phone
    same address.

Anyone explain this before I bite the bullet and settle for the less than perfect Gmail?
