• Excel Printing Issue - print area cut off

From andytcoc@gmail.com@21:1/5 to All on Wed Nov 8 06:54:59 2017
I had been converting my files from google sheets to excel 2003. I was having the same problem,. It was cutting off about an inch of needed column, until I re-saved my file to make sure it was actually in excel 2003 format.

It worked. I set the percentage size to 95% for the look I wanted on the page. My margins are 1/2" all the way around. I centered the page vertically and horizontally as well.

Well, I learned another thing. My dpi setting was set to 2400 this week. I changed it in Page setup to 600 dpi and it switched imediately to the margin settings I wanted. The whole thing prints correctly now.

It's as if there is a right margin defined which is allowing only about 2-3 inches of the file to print (from left to right). I have Office 2007 and Vista OS. It doesn't matter if a file is saved as default 2007 version or as
Excel '97 - 2003 version. Nor does it matter if I select "Adjust to" or "Fit
to" in the Scaling section of Page Setup in Print Preview. Also doesn't matter if I select a specific print area. It's really confusing me - Can anyone HELP! Thanks

Wow! Thanks for adding your suggestion. "Print Area" showed full pages, however lines were missing in Print Preview and .PDF creation.
I changed the "dpi" setting to 600 and now all lines print. --- Thanks ----
