  • Inconsistent formula or MS trying to be too clever?

    Thank you, thank you, thank you. This feature of Excel has bugged me for years and I only finally thought to search for a way to turn it off.

    Just as an aside, you could write that formula more efficiently as =MAX(D31+G32-B42,0)
