    In this article, we will show you how to use HandBrake 0.9.8 Portable to convert video formats easily and quickly.

    Step 1: Download and Run HandBrake 0.9.8 Portable
    To download HandBrake 0.9.8 Portable, go to Portapps[^2^] and click on the Download button for the latest portable setup. The file size is about 20 MB and it will be saved as handbrake-portable-win64-1.5.1-8-setup.exe.

    Once the download is complete, run the setup file and follow the instructions to install HandBrake 0.9.8 Portable on your desired location. You can choose any folder or drive, such as your desktop or a USB stick.

    Step 4: Adjust Settings (Optional)

    Picture: This allows you to change the resolution, aspect ratio, cropping and filters of the output video.
    Video: This allows you to change the codec, quality, framerate and encoding options of the output video.
    Audio: This allows you to change the codec, bitrate, samplerate and mixdown of the output audio.
    Subtitles: This allows you to add or remove subtitles from the output video. Chapters: This allows you to add or remove chapters from the output video. Advanced: This allows you to change some advanced settings for x264 encoder.

    For this example, we will leave the settings as they are.

    Step 5: Start Encoding
    To start encoding, click on the Browse button
