  • contact folder no longer in new mail window

    We help older people using their pc and notebook.

    One of them has an Outlook 2003 installation with many mails and contacts,
    but when starting a new mail and trying to get a popup list of her contacts
    to pick up a mail address she gets a message box (translated from German)
    like

    "...address list cannot be displayed. The contacts folder associated with
    this address lsit has been moved or deleted, or you have no access rights"

    Neither she could have moved a folder nor changed access rights, and the contacts are still available after clicking the contacts button on the left side (in the same Outlook window), so what else can go wrong, or what can I
    do to get access to the contacts in the new mail window?
