• use of alias

From Ammammata@21:1/5 to All on Tue Mar 14 17:33:11 2023
    Hello

I have a customer with her own mail address name.surname@herdomain.com,
    based on MS Exchange server
I created an alias for the a.m., company.name@herdomain.com, that works
    fine

when someone sends a mail to company.name@herdomain.com the lady gets
the message in her account, but the recipient is shown as name.surname@herdomain.com

now, even if I can find the proper alias in the mail headers:

    ...
    Authentication-Results-Original: alpha.hosting1234.com; spf=pass
    (sender IP is
    225.182.175.141) smtp.mailfrom=ammammata@tiscali.it smtp.helo=HDX Received-SPF: pass (alpha.hosting1234.com: connection is authenticated)

    Message-ID: <086c0ed9577a$2dv35750$812a05e4$@tiscali.it>
    ...

when Outlokk displays the message on screen it shows the proper mail
address name.surname@herdomain.com and the lady can't understand
whether the mail was sent to her - directly - or to the alias

Is this an Outlook feature-by-design or is something I can change to
    display the original recipient address?

    Thank you
