• How does one remove double spacings in Office 365's Outlook.com HTML e-

I don't see an option to remove them. I tried removing formattings, but
    that didn't help.

Thank you for reading and hopefully answering soon. :)

That's called paragraph spacing when you hit Enter. Switching from HTML
to plain text mode won't remove the extra blank line used to delineate paragraph boundaries.

If you want a newline without spacing between lines, use Shift+Enter.
The Enter key triggers a new *paragraph*. Shift+Enter triggers moving
down to the start of a new line.

Note: My NNTP provider (individual.net) does not carry the following newsgroups:

    microsoft.public.outlook.outlook
    microsoft.public.outlook.usage

So, my reply only went to the microsoft.public.outlook.general
newsgroup, but I left the Newsgroups header intact with list of all the original newsgroups since it is unclear which one the OP will be
watching on his NNTP server (Earthlink contracting with Giganews).
