• Program Manager replacement

From me@privacy.net@21:1/5 to All on Wed Nov 23 18:46:56 2022
I'd like to set up a rather complete WfW system with lots of
programs. I know that PM has certain limitations regarding program
groups and programs within a group. Long time ago I heard there
were a few replacements without these limitations. Can anybody
    suggest me one?

Sorry, I'm unfamiliar with that. I've never attempted to install more
than a dozen or so programs on WFW 3.x before; even back when I
    "daily-drove" one of those systems.

Although not particularly helpful, I responded because I'm not sure if
anyone else is monitoring this NG, and I'm intrigued to see new posts.

I know that e.g.TakeCommand can take over the role of PM somehow
but I've never seen such a solution and now I can't test it
myself. There are 2-3 such replacements for PM but I don't know
their names and what to look for.

    I use the PCTools shell.
