In a table used to compare pairs of entries, the fifth column is
merged vertically. The whole table is set to not allow rows to break across pages. The merhged cells are still allowed to break.

Apparently, Word seems to have forgotten that these cells are no
    longer separate.

Is there any way to fix this so that page breaks cannot split the
    merged cells either?

This link is no longer valid. and the format unmerged cells as paragraph "Keep with next" does not seem to work on Word 2010 ver 14.0.7177.5000
