From =?UTF-8?Q?Micha=C5=82_G=C3=B3rny?=@21:1/5 to All on Tue May 28 08:30:02 2024
    Hi,

Just a quick reminder that we're switching to Python 3.12 this Saturday.
If you're up for some more quick porting, right now's the time!

Unfortunately it happens that proxy-maint PRs slip through the
cracks. If this happens, like it seems to have been the case with
your PR, then please ping us proxy maintainers. Ideally simply by
mentioning PRs that need attention of proxy maintainers in #gentoo-proxy-maint (Libera IRC).

    +1.

Realising even my own ebuilds can do with some work, but yes, as a PR
this is the part of the process that I most look up to.  Even if PR maintainers that have been around can just be given rights to commit to
their own (long maintained) packages, that would already help alleviate
    the queue.

    Kind regards,
    Jaco

Nothing stops you from reviewing stuff, getting it to be merge-ready,
then pinging appropriate maintainers to merge it. Nor from becoming
a developer, to the best of my knowledge. Though this attitude may
    already be a red flag.

I see Flow's reviewed your PR (as has mgorny before now) but I plan on
going over any py3.12 related PRs over the weekend - including yours if
    it's not merged by then.

Others are encouraged and welcome to help with that process, including non-developers who want to review which speeds things up. Thanks.
