    Hi,

USB 3.0 ports stop working at boot or as soon as I plug more than one device. Devices attached to them are not recognized and not listed with lsusb. I had no
    problems before the upgrade.
    On logs I found:
kernel: DMAR: DRHD: handling fault status reg 2
kernel: DMAR: [DMA Read] Request device [04:00.0] PASID ffffffff fault add
r fff7e000 [fault reason 06] PTE Read access is not set
kernel: xhci_hcd 0000:04:00.0: WARNING: Host System Error

I can avoid this issue adding "iommu=soft" to kernel parameters at boot.

The signs of this issue hint towards the kernel, hence reassigning there.

    Paul
