    Hi

I would like to do some last minute changes to the linux package

    # Use pristine-lfs

Currently we don't have any way of storing orig tars. I would like to
change that and default to pristine-lfs for that, so we can setup the
    build tree without manual work.

    # Don't longer list stable changes in the changelog

Currently we list all stable changes in the changelog. As we drop old
entries, this still have a 500k compressed changelog, even if the
package contents itself are way smaller.

    # Supply compressed modules

This needs some changes to kernel-wedge, but it will reduce our
    footprint massively.

Or should we just go for 0? This would also remove the ordering
weirdness a lot of people experienced.

So instead of having linux-image-6.1.0-rc2-amd64 (for version
6.1~rc2-1~exp1) that would have been linux-image-6.1.0-0-amd64 and so
sorting before linux-image-6.1.0-1-amd64 once we go to an unstable
    upload with ABI 1, correct?

Your suggestion sounds like a sensible idea. The distinguishing about
the rc releases would be easier if we retain the former variant, but I
assume concerns for those experimental targeting uploads is less of an
    issue.

    Ben, opinions on it?

    Regards,
    Salvatore
