No reply by the dpkg maintainer showed up. Do we need to revisit that?
Quick ping on the TC decision in #1007717: do you have any response to
the TC's advice? Thanks.
So I've been a bit torn apart about this TC induced request, due to my
very long standing principled stance on not desiring to participate in
TC related processes. But that then would imply I could not interact
for example with dpkg related bugs, which does not seem right either. :/
I never replied to that mail in #737634 because of the above, because
it was just advice, because the advice seems bogus anyway, and because involvement from the TC has an extreme chilling and demotivating effect
on subjects it touches.
(Also given the context of this request this reads slightly with a
vibe like "take the advice or else". :/)
In any case, I guess I can try to find the energy to update #737634
during this week.
Thanks,
Guillem
