    Untested but shouldn't the \mho be within braces, {\mho}?

    That TeX was expecting a number at some place and found something
    else (probably this \protect control sequence).

    If you don't show us more context (around line 59 of your LaTeX
    document, it seems) we can only guess.

    You can just type "q" there and hope that zero was a good number,
    perhaps the document gets typeset nicely anyway.

    That may be but it was in the snippet of the error message you posted.
    Maybe post more context (e.g. line in your actual LaTeX where error
    occurs) and/or ask on a LaTeX list/group?

    I think it's some package loaded in the preamble making " active.
