I never did any translations (in Debian) thus I'm not sure where to start with this bu I think I could help if I only knew which 12 strings require translating :-)
If you could point me to the line from which should I start I'm pretty sure I can sort it out pretty quickly.

Pointer to the docs about translations syntax and procedures would be beneficial as well.

I had a quick look (on my phone) at this pdf and it looks ok.

Proofreading is indeed a good thing for starting with translation work :-)

I'm not planning long term involvement within translation team. Probably I can help from time to time when other ppl are busy but not as a long term commitment, sorry.
