Hi,
We are currently using Debian 10.4 and have to stick with this for
stability reason.
There is an ethernet i225-V which we need to support, but the IGC
driver is present only after 4.20 while the Debian 10.4 uses 4.19
only. There is a backport of 5.10 in buster. if we install it after
debian installation, the ethernet is working. But we need the i225-V
support during installation when using
debian-10.4.0-amd64-netinst.iso. Can we easily upgrade only the kernel
from 4.19 to 5.10(from backport) in the
debian-10.4.0-amd64-netinst.iso to create a custom ISO image ?
Kindly help

there is a workaround: you can install buster with bullseye's install image.
in the syslinux menu, select expert mode,
you will get an option about which release to install.
Kindly help
