That's a starting point :)

A programmer can be a maintainer, And $stuff can be learned, so
even if it true that you currently do not have the required skills (which I cannot judge, because the only interaction we had is this mails), this is
not an obstacle.

(That of course requires you to *want* to learn the requred skills, IOW,
invest the required time; Not wanting to is a perfectly fine decission.)

Howver, let's step back for a minute and look at your original question:
"what about package for my simple program"

If you want your program be packaged for Debian, you have basically two options:
1) package it yourself, (becoming the maintainer.)
2) wait until it is packaged by someone else.

I've outlined the way for 1) already, but from your response, it seems that this is not your favorite option, which is OK, as said before.

So let's take a look at 2):
This generally requires that someone is interested in having your program in Debian and wanting to do the work of maintaining of it. There is no gurantee that this will happen, but if you want hint other peoples to consider your program, you want to file a "RFP" bug against the wnpp pseudo packagea.
