• fldigi password for qrz lookup bug

From MJ Inabnit@21:1/5 to All on Tue Mar 8 22:20:02 2022
    Greetings,

I stumbled on an issue with FLDIGI performing qrz callsign lookups while
using a strong password. I've read the fldigi manual and README to no
    avail.

Anyone know what characters fldigi will use and maximum password size?
My browsers have no problems with my strong password, but I use fldigi extensively and really want it to work for lookups with a strong long
    password.

I've attempted to send a bug report to linuxham@group.io regarding this bug.

    Thank you, 73

    Dave,

Thank you. Yet I am hoping one of the ham here is able to read the
source code for qrz password process. I've reverted to a short password
for now, but knowing what characters and max length would be very helpful.

Hopefully my message made it to the linuxham@group.io people. Don't
want to join that high traffic list.

    tnx & 73

Your problem most likely lies with FlDigi and/or QRZ; not with Debian.

Address your issue to the FlDigi developer(s) first. They can be reached at:
