On some ia64 machines, it may be necessary to pass the option
"hardened_usercopy=off"
on the kernel command line. For that, press "e" on the GRUB menu and
append the line above without quotes to the boot command.

I'm trying to build a kernel 5.15.75 which should have bluetooth 5 (and ble) support,
however I'm not able to build this kernel such that it actually completes all of the
debian boot sequence.
