• javacc5 issues

From Sebastiaan Couwenberg@21:1/5 to All on Wed May 18 09:40:01 2022
javacc5 is not built on the buildds preventing testing migration:

    https://qa.debian.org/excuses.php?package=javacc5

This is why it's good practice to upload NEW packages to experimental,
which can then be followed-up with a source-only upload to unstable.

    The git repo is empty:

    https://salsa.debian.org/java-team/javacc5

The watch file doesn't limit to 5.x releases:

    https://sources.debian.org/src/javacc5/5.0-10/debian/watch/

Emmanuel, can you push your changes. I can then fix the other issues if
    you want.

    Kind Regards,

    Bas

Two consecutive uploads to unstable is fine too.

I pondered keeping the javacc5 package as a branch of the javacc
repository, but I've eventually pushed it to a new repository.

Yes, because there is no 5.x release tagged in the upstream repository :(
