I noticed that you uploaded libstringprep-java to NEW but it was
already in NEW at
https://ftp-master.debian.org/new/stringprep_2.0-1.html for the RFP
that you raised at #983384. If you want i can request the ftp-masters
to reject my package.

Hi Sudip,
oh I'm sorry for missing your upload. I knew I had reported stringprep missing in February, but was only looking in other places and didn't find my own
ITP anymore when I gave updating libpostgresql-jdbc-java another try
in April.
The problem is that libpostgresql-jdbc-java (source: libpgjava) needs stringprep 1.1, so we cannot go to 2.0 yet, at least for unstable.
https://ftp-master.debian.org/new/libstringprep-java_1.1-1.html (unstable) https://ftp-master.debian.org/new/stringprep_2.0-1.html (experimental)
We both picked the same binary name, but different source names. Do
you (or the java team) have a preference for either of these names?

iiuc, based on Debian Java policy the source should be 'stringprep'
and the binary package should be 'libstringprep-java'.
