I get this error when running as a user:
Unable to determine if running on a console"
Looks like a non-setuid X issue. I remember a page where there some
settings to do. Someone has a hints on what is missing for me?
Maybe it is just a specific package to reconfigure. Or do we need
legacy X server on HURD?
Hi,
after I resintalled all hurd on bare metal some time ago, I am without X.
If I run startx from root, it works.

Thinkpad R52.
Works like a "desktop". No WiFi, Bluetooth and such, never tried audio. Didn't even dare things
like suspend/hibernate :).
Has the usual issues like not proper poweroff on "poweroff" and I have VMs.

Ok. I've got a T46 maybe. It currently only runs on the console. I haven't actually
set up X yet. And I do not really use it very often...
