Dear DebConf attendees

Given the Covid-situation has not improved enough for us to feel safe about international travel, we are looking forward to DebConf21 being held online again.

DebConf21 will take place between August 22nd and August 29th, 2021.
The final dates will depend on the amount of talks submitted.

The CFP for DebConf21 is coming up shortly, please check the web page mentioned above or subscribe to the debconf-announce mailing list.

The decision to move DebConf21 online again also meant we had to discuss with the DebConf teams from Israel, Kosovo and India how to proceed for DebConf22+.

We discussed with the teams on how to sequence the next in-person DebConfs and decided that:

DebConf22 will be in Prishtina, Kosovo
DebConf23 will be in Kochi, India
DebConf24 will be in Haifa, Israel

All of this -of course- if the Covid pandemic allows for reasonable conferences and international air travel is possible.

We thank all of the teams for their continued commitment and their patience in these volatile times. We very much look forward to be hosted in each of our projected venues as the overall situations permit.
